Thermal Storage Finland (TSF) is a technology company that manufactures modular plug & play hybrid thermal power plants and supplies them to its customers with a wide range of financing solutions. The plant has a very high efficiency and provides customers with a fast and efficient way to easily access fossil-free heating energy.
“After two years of technology development, we have now started the commercialisation phase at the end of the year. Customer interest has been overwhelming, both domestically and internationally. Since commercial director Jusu Kainulainen has started working actively with customers, we have also identified new potential applications and ways to use the technology. As soon as we started the commercialisation phase, we identified a need among the owners and the current board to complement the board with competent and experienced people who would have our own strategy built in. We had become familiar with Niemi Palvelut’s sustainability programme and were really impressed with it, especially with the concrete measures the company has already taken. So it was extremely natural to invite Juha Niemi to join our board and fortunately he was very positive about the idea at the first meeting. Juha Niemi is also a member of the board of Niemi Palvelut Oy and brings to our board concrete measures and a huge network from the real estate world.
