EOS Saunatechnik in Germany was looking for a heating solution that would operate in the everyday life of the production and office with the same reliability as the rest of the critical infrastructure. With a heating demand of 950 MWh per year and a total area of 11,000 square metres, the energy solution needed to be simple to use and easy to manage so that the impact could also be seen in practice. The implementation of the TSF was tailored to the site’s needs in order to achieve a tangible and measurable reduction in oil use. The essence of this reference is in the result: a 95% reduction in oil consumption.
At the EOS site, the heating serves two different daily needs: the production facilities and the office. The solution was designed to fit the size and use of the building without the need for separate adjustments, and to be easy to control even when the load fluctuates. By keeping the proportion of oil low, the change is most visible in consumption and therefore costs, while at the same time the heating supports sustainability objectives in a practical way.
